The Accident Season
Waiting on Wednesday is a meme hosted by Jill at BreakingtheSpine in which we spotlight a new release we can't wait to get our hands on.
Title: The Accident Season
Author: Moïra Fowley-Doyle
Expected Release Date: August 18, 2015
Publisher: Corgi Childrens
Goodreads Link: The Accident Season
Preorder Me: Amazon, B&N, Book Depository
Synopsis:
It's the accident season, the same time every year. Bones break, skin tears, bruises bloom.
The accident season has been part of seventeen-year-old Cara's life for as long as she can remember. Towards the end of October, foreshadowed by the deaths of many relatives before them, Cara's family becomes inexplicably accident-prone. They banish knives to locked drawers, cover sharp table edges with padding, switch off electrical items - but injuries follow wherever they go, and the accident season becomes an ever-growing obsession and fear.
But why are they so cursed? And how can they break free?

I
saw this book on Instagram and the cover immediately drew me in and after
reading the synopsis I'm sold. This book sounds so creepy and I love it! I can't wait to get my hands on it and see what causes this people to be so accident
prone. I might read it until October though just seems like the perfect
October read. What book are you excited for? Let me know in the comments below;
I would love to hear from you.
