Long live Solaris.

Fragile alliances will be tested and new bonds will be formed as the world is reshaped. She fights as the champion of peace, but when the night is darkest will she be able to pay the price of a new dawn?

My Thoughts:

I was sent a copy by the author in exchange for an honest review.

I was so nervous going into this book since is the last book in the Air Awakens series and I didn't want to say goodbye to the characters that I have grown to love or the world that Elise has created, but now that I'm done reading Crystal Crowned I have to say that Elise ended this series magnificently; I'm sad that I won’t read any more books with the amazing characters, but I'm more than satisfied with how the series came to an end.

I loved seeing Vhalla go from a shy library apprentice to the fearless Windwalker, her character development even in this book was very well written and I'm definitely going to miss her. Another character that I loved to see grow and become a great leader was Aldrik; gosh I’m going to miss that man! I loved every single little thing about him and absolutely adored him in this book, he went from the feared Fire Lord to the True Emperor his people needed. I have one more character that I absolutely fell in love with and need to mention and that will be Jax, that man kept me laughing when everything seemed lost and I loved his character for that, I also really liked that we go to know more about him and I wouldn't mind getting a novella in his perspective.

This book was so different from the previous ones it was brutal and hit me in the feels over and over again, but I didn’t mind one single bit. I loved the way Elise described Victor’s magic and how she made me loathe him even more than I already did. The action in this book was just what I wanted and nothing less and that epilogue was absolute perfection!!! Elise nailed it! I’m so sad to say goodbye to this amazing series, I’m going to miss all the characters and they will always have a special place in my heart. If you have yet to pick this series up I HIGHLY recommend it! It's amazing and each book just gets better and better. Thank you so much Elise! You have become one of my favorite authors and I can’t wait to read more of your work.

Synopsis:

After surviving a disastrous battle at prom, Alyssa has embraced her madness and gained perspective. She's determined to rescue her two worlds and the people and netherlings she loves. Even if it means challenging Queen Red to a final battle of wills and wiles . . . and even if the only way to Wonderland, now that the rabbit hole is closed, is through the looking-glass world--a parallel dimension filled with mutated and violent netherling outcasts. In the final installment of the wildly popular Splintered trilogy, Alyssa and her dad journey into the heart of magic and mayhem in search of her mom and to set right all that's gone wrong. Together with Jeb and Morpheus, they must salvage Wonderland from the decay and destruction that has ensnared it. But if they succeed and come out alive, can everyone truly have their happily ever after?

My Thoughts:

In this book Alyssa has embraced her netherling madness and is determined to save Jeb, Morpheus, her mother, and Wonderland, even if it means challenging the red queen. Alyssa and her dad venture into the looking glass world to find a way into wonderland, since the rabbit hole was closed the night of the battle. With the help of Morpheus and Jeb they set in a journey to save Alyssa's mother and Wonderland from the mayhem the Queen Red has unleashed.

This is a bittersweet moment an ending of a trilogy I have enjoyed so much, even though I was not ready to say goodbye to the characters I have grown to love (Morpheus) the ending A.G. Howard wrote was amazing. I have never read any ending like it and it was definitely very satisfying. The way Howard re imagines Wonderland is perfection it just draws you in like a moth to a flame ( no pun intended ;) ) lol.

The book had my feels everywhere! The love triangle is strong in this one, but I'm beyond happy of the way A.G. Howard worked with it. I was crying tears of joy at how perfect the ending was. I also loved the character development, the characters have gone through so much since the last two books and the way they have grown definitely reflects in this book. This book has left me with a hangover that is going to be very difficult to overcome, Oh A.G Howard what have you done to me and my feels. One last thing this book is definitely under hyped it doesn't get the recognition it deserves. If you have not picked this book up, what are you waiting for? If you like anything Wonderland even if you don't this book will leave you craving for Wonderland to be real. Also the cover will look amazing on your bookshelf! ;)
